Openverse Events 2025-26

Explore the intent and benefits of every Openverse event, from Linux ricing to hackathons and creative AI jams.

Openverse Events: Learn, Build, and Belong

Why the delayed start?

Due to a mandatory Fresher Quarantine period enforced by college authorities as part of their anti-ragging measures, we decided to hold off most events until late August. This gave first-year students space to settle in without pressure or noise.

Behind the scenes, we spent this time prepping our internal workflows, setting up bots, polishing documentation, and making sure everything runs smooth once we go live. Now that the quarantine is ending, we're ready to launch with a packed calendar and clear goals.

Every event is designed to spark curiosity, build real skills, and help you find your place in open source whether you’re a coder, designer, or just curious.
